Grand Teton is a good place for spotting beavers. There are various operators who run ‘floats’, rafting trips with no white water but an excellent way to see lots of water based creatures. We saw several beavers one evening and had a wonderful trip.

Sadly none of our beaver pictures came out as anything but a blurry smudge so this is why the picture is of some elk grazing in the evening light taken whilst on a float trip.
