Don’t miss…

1) Just stand and marvel at any of the view points on either side of the Canyon. The view is sublime.

2) Take some time to hike along a rim trail for a solitary piece of paradise.

3) Watch the sun rise or the sun set and enjoy the incredible colours in the Canyon.

4) Head west along the South Rim and check out the viewpoints on the way to Hermit’s Rest, especially Hopi Point

5) Drive the Desert View road along the eastern side of the South Rim and stop off at the viewpoints to enjoy the different views of the Canyon, especially at Moran Point where you have a fabulous view of the Hance Rapids, one of the most difficult rapids on the Colorado River.

6) Go hard core and hike down into the Canyon and spend the night at Phantom Ranch. If you can’t face the thought of the hike back out, you can travel in and out on a mule ride from Canyon Village, or catch a ride in a helicopter.

7) Take on the mighty Colorado River and go white water rafting. From a half day trip to an epic 16 day adventure.

8) Fly over the Canyon in a small plane and watch the landscape unfold beneath you.

9) Head to Bright Angel Point on the North Rim for a different perspective of the Canyon.

10) Head out of the Park to the Hualapai Indian Reservation, further along the South Rim. Hold on to your stomach and step out onto the Grand Canyon Skywalk, a glass platform suspended over the Canyon.
