There are 12 campgrounds within the Park with varying facilities. Seven of these are operated by the National Park Service and operate on a first come first served basis. The remaining five are bookable and operated by Xanterra. If you are intending on hiring an RV more than 30 feet long you will have to reserve a site as the first come first served campgrounds cannot accommodate an RV of this size.

If you have been unable to get a reservation and decide to chance your luck at a first come first served site you should aim to get there as early in the day as possible if you are travelling during July or August.
