Enjoying a London summer

Louise currently lives with her husband in South London.  On her days off she can normally be found yomping up a hill or around part of London, sat in a pub or playing with her young niece. Her ideal holiday involves lots of sunshine, the chance to have some kind of adventure and plenty of sitting around in bars / pavement cafes. Her most recent holiday was a road trip to the Alsace region of France.

Louise has lived in the Caribbean, Germany and the US  and travelled in Europe, North America, South East Asia and Australia. In her previous life she worked in insurance for 16 years. On the plus side this did allow her to go and live and work in the US.

Louise can never answer the question “which is your favourite holiday destination” and maintains this is not chronic indecisiveness but that she has been to too many brilliant places. When pressed she narrowed it down to one of Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, Sicily and the Aeolian Islands or the Whitsunday Islands. If you ask again you will probably get a different list…..

Louise’s best holiday tip – you can always have a great time on holiday if you seek out what is best about a place and just set about enjoying it; even if the weather is rubbish, the hotel is lousy and things are not as you expected, look for a way to have fun and you will.
