Oregon can offer something for everyone from the urban cool of Portland with its vibrant food truck scene to Crater lake, America’s deepest lake offering some great hiking and driving opportunities and high enough to offer some respite from the heat and humidity of summer.  If it’s the beach you’re after then all of Oregon’s coastline is protected by the ‘Beach bill’ which means every single mile is open to the public, no private beaches at all.  Why not create your own mini road trip?

Consider flying to Seattle with British Airways who offer a direct flight. BA also do city breaks to Seattle, combining a flight and hotel which can sometimes be cheaper than booking independently and is a great option if you’re starting a trip in the city.
