There’s something irresistible about New York at Christmas time.  Despite the low temperatures and potential snow, NYC still offers a magical display from Christmas displays in the shops of 5th and Madison Avenues to ice skating in Central Park or at the Rockefeller Center and of course the endless opportunities for Christmas shopping.  Many a tourist has stood in Times Square, watching the famous glitter ball drop in the countdown to New Year but if I were you, I would book ahead at one of NYC’s fabulous restaurants or bars and countdown in the warm, the atmosphere will be just as sparkling!
