With its lush vegetation, mountain peaks and stunning beaches, Hawaii is a great destination.  Sitting close to the equator affords the islands a subtropical climate with temperatures sitting around 26-28°C for most of Winter with warm seas for swimming and surfing.  It is prone to a little more rain & cloud in Winter but there’s still plenty of sunshine to be had.  Consider breaking up the journey by combining with a city break in Las Vegas or San Francisco.
