Travelling With Kids

Travelling With Kids

Prancing about at the top of the Prudential Center, Boston

Although I’m as happy as the next person to take my kids on holidays in the UK (and we do), I didn’t want having children to inhibit my travels abroad.  I also wanted them to develop a love of travelling abroad and everything that has to offer.  Obviously it becomes much more difficult, (though not impossible,) to just jump on a plane somewhere and see what happens, but with a little thought, travelling abroad with kids can be really fun and rewarding.  The journey itself is just the start!

In my experience, and despite hearing some information to the contrary about New Yorkers, America and Americans are in most cases amazingly child friendly.  In the US children seem very welcome and catered for which is great for parents.  The vast majority of people we have met on our travels have been very helpful and friendly towards our children and made us feel very welcome.
