If you have never had the desire to visit Las Vegas, and your idea of holiday purgatory is a loud, brash, neon lit party town, it is still well worth giving Vegas some thought. It is an excellent gateway airport with a broad range of direct flights from the UK and in a great location to head out on a tour to some incredible places. In just over two hours you can be exploring the beauty of Zion National Park, or the wonderful landscape of Death Valley. If you want a longer trip you can easily visit the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Lake Powell or Bryce Canyon. Another option is to head over the border into California, places like Palm Springs, Joshua Tree National Park and Los Angeles can easily be tied together into a fantastic trip out of Vegas. Getting there…

Getting to Las Vegas couldn’t be easier.

Virgin Atlantic fly direct to Las Vegas from the UK. We love them for their great on board entertainment systems and family friendly approach.

British Airways also fly directly to Las Vegas from the UK. We particularly like B.A if we want to fly from a regional airport as they tend to offer a great range of connecting flights.

If neither of these options appeal we like Skyscanner for a good listing of all the operators running flights.
